By using SailMOB (sailmob.co, sailmob.app, the SailMOB iOS app, or any related services), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. SailMOB is operated by Ventus Optera, LLC.
A physics-true sailing simulator with structured curriculum, coaching, and racing scenarios. It is a learning tool, not a substitute for on-the-water instruction or real-world safety judgment.
Don't try to break the service, scrape it at scale, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm anyone else. Don't impersonate other users. Don't upload content that's illegal, infringing, or hateful.
The simulator, drills, and quickplay are free to use, with no daily limit, and will stay free. Some additional features may be sold as paid upgrades. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change with notice.
Taking part in the open beta does not by itself grant permanent or free access to paid features. If we offer beta participants a benefit, we will describe it at the time.
Paid features in the iOS app are sold as Apple In-App Purchases. Apple is the merchant of record: Apple bills you, holds your payment details, and manages your subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled, and you cancel or request a refund through your Apple ID subscription settings or Apple Support — not through us. We can see whether a purchase succeeded and which features it unlocks; we cannot cancel or refund it on your behalf.
SailMOB and all content (code, graphics, copy, brand) are owned by Ventus Optera, LLC. You may use the product as intended; you may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.
If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, we may use them to improve the product without obligation to you. We do not claim ownership of your gameplay data; we do use it as described in the Privacy Policy.
SailMOB is a simulator. Skills practiced here translate, but real sailing involves wind, water, equipment, and judgment that no simulator can fully reproduce. Always sail within your competence, follow local regulations, and wear appropriate safety gear on the water.
We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice with at least 14 days' notice where reasonably possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County.
