By using SailMOB (sailmob.co, sailmob.app, the SailMOB iOS app, or any related services), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. SailMOB is operated by Ventus Optera, LLC.
A virtual sailing school: a physics-true simulator with structured curriculum, coaching, and racing scenarios. It is a learning tool, not a substitute for on-the-water instruction or real-world safety judgment.
Don't try to break the service, scrape it at scale, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm anyone else. Don't impersonate other users. Don't upload content that's illegal, infringing, or hateful.
The simulator, drills, and quickplay are free to use during the open beta and will remain free in the public release. Premium tiers (Sailor, Captain) unlock additional features. Pricing is shown in-app and may change with notice.
Open-beta participants who sign up during the beta period receive lifetime Captain-tier access at no charge. This is a fixed promise.
Paid subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel anytime in your account settings; access continues through the end of the current period. Refunds are at our discretion outside statutory minimums.
SailMOB and all content (code, graphics, copy, brand) are owned by Ventus Optera, LLC. You may use the product as intended; you may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.
If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, we may use them to improve the product without obligation to you. We do not claim ownership of your gameplay data; we do use it as described in the Privacy Policy.
SailMOB is a simulator. Skills practiced here translate, but real sailing involves wind, water, equipment, and judgment that no simulator can fully reproduce. Always sail within your competence, follow local regulations, and wear appropriate safety gear on the water.
We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice with at least 14 days' notice where reasonably possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County.
